Shiba Inu (SHIB) is on the brink of a potential breakout as Shytoshi Kusama prepares to take the stage at the Blockchain Futurist Conference. SHIB enthusiasts are bracing for what could be a game-changing announcement.
Shiba Inu (SHIB) Eyes Potential Breakout Amid Kusama’s Upcoming Speech
Shiba Inu (SHIB) might have a bullish surge this week due to an upcoming event that features Shyoshi Kusama, the chief developer of the ecosystem. Over the previous week, the price of SHIB has remained rather stable, prompting this update.
According to an X post by Lucie, head of marketing of Shiba Inu, Kusama will be speaking at the 2024 Blockchain Futurist Conference. Details indicate that Kusama will give a presentation at the WonderFi Main Stage today, August 13, from 5:05 - 5:20 p.m. EDT.
For its sixth year running, the Blockchain Futurist Conference 2024 will be held in Toronto, Canada, at Rebel Entertainment Complex and Cabana on August 13th and 14th. The conference unites top experts in several fields to discuss blockchain's future possibilities, including cryptocurrency, Web3, NFTs, DeFi, staking, DAOs, and more.
SHIB Community Awaits Major Reveal at Blockchain Futurist Conference
U.Today shares that during this year's convention, the SHIB community is hoping that Kusama will unveil a new project that will cause the price of SHIB to skyrocket. Their anticipation is well-founded; during the 2023 conference, the principal developer unveiled Shibarium, a layer-2 solution for Shiba Inus.
The price of SHIB went up after Kusama's conference speech. Numerous members of the SHIB community are hopeful that the price of SHIB will improve, even though the topic of Kusama's speech is still up in the air.
Kusama’s Past Announcements Spark SHIB Surges
Kusama has a huge impact on the Shiba Inu community, and his big announcements have historically caused SHIB's price to rise.
The public has no idea who Kusama is at this time. Since assuming leadership from the enigmatic founder, Ryoshi, in 2021, the SHIB main developer has concealed his actual appearance and identity. Kusama made an appearance on camera at Japan's annual Web3 start-up event, IVS 2024, last month.
But he had two masks covering his face, so no one could determine if he was the genuine SHIB leader.
