VANCOUVER, British Columbia, March 01, 2018 -- Silvercorp Metals Inc. (TSX:SVM) (NYSE AMERICAN:SVM) (“Silvercorp” or the “Company”) announces that to date it has acquired 1,717,100 of its common shares at an average price paid per common share of CDN $3.07 through the facilities of the TSX, pursuant to its normal course issuer bid announced November 23, 2017 (“the Buyback Program”). All common shares acquired in the Buyback Program will be cancelled.
