The launch date of “Sims 5” has not even been announced yet but a lot of fans are already clamoring for the game to be released. This is hardly surprising considering the popularity of not only the games but the entire concept of the franchise as a whole. As for what fans can expect from the game, it will likely be a much bigger experience than before and might include some bonkers features.
It’s no surprise that a lot of hype is behind “Sims 5” since the current game in the franchise is making a ton of money. As PCGamesN reports, “Sims 4” has made $1 billion since launch and in 2018, it had a player count going up to five million. That is not a number that can be ignored, even by a company as hungry for money as EA.
As such, there is no doubt that “Sims 5” is going to be a massive launch with even more features to allow players to tinker with their simulated population as they see fit. On that note, it would appear that a lot of gamers are not content to simply sit back and watch what the developers have to offer. There have been a ton of threads online where fans express their thoughts on what should be added to the game.
Among the most popular right now is the matter of traits that could expand the dimensions of the Sims. So far, while there have been improvements in how the digital figures interact with each other, it is far from mimicking actual people. Real humans are often influenced by more than simple emotions and this is what players want to bring to “Sims 5.”
For now, the release date of “Sims 5” is still unknown. However, considering the timeline, it could either come out late this year or early 2020.
