In a remarkable fusion, Skepta's unparalleled style and cultural influence meet PUMA's rich heritage in sportswear design, resulting in a groundbreaking collection. Defined by distinct shapes, unique details, and textures, this collaboration sets a new fashion and sportswear industry standard.
According to a press release, the campaign, centered around light and shadow, skillfully casts Skepta in the spotlight, perfectly encapsulating the collection's essence.
Skepta Joins the PUMA Family
After being announced as a brand ambassador in 2022, Skepta unveiled his first collaborative collection with PUMA. Tailored to align with Skepta's unique aesthetic, the collection flaunts a stealthy color palette accentuated with premium nylon and silver hardware, harking back to PUMA's origins. This collaboration strikes a harmonious balance between PUMA's historical roots and forward-thinking innovation.
The Collection: A Fusion of Past and Future
Digging deep into PUMA's extensive archive, Skepta adds his signature touch to a comprehensive range of apparel and accessories and introduces a brand-new footwear silhouette—the PUMA Skope Forever. The PUMA x Skepta Track Jacket and Pants are central to the collection, reimagining PUMA's iconic T7 tracksuit with a fresh, modern twist.
Other highlights include a technically engineered Vest with concealed pockets, a sleek Backpack, tactically designed Gloves, and a cuffless Beanie, all maintaining a cohesive aesthetic.
Introducing the PUMA Skope Forever
Imprint noted that the PUMA Skope Forever, co-created by Skepta and PUMA, is a testament to innovation inspired by early-2000s footwear. This new silhouette features an iridescent colorway, robust tooling, and a mesh underlay capped with opalescent panels. Silver accents and a special PUMA x Skepta badge on the tongue round off this tech-luxe design.
The first collection from Skepta and PUMA launches on May 18, 2024, marking the beginning of a long-term partnership. Available through PUMA.com, PUMA flagship stores, and selected retailers, the collection offers items priced from 60 to 200 Euros, making it accessible to a wide audience eager to wear the collaboration's innovative designs.
