'Sleepy Hollow' Season 3 Spoilers: Is Agent Mills really dead?

If you are one of the many loyal fans of the hit TV series Sleepy Hollow then you know how heartbreaking the midseason finale was. But if you haven't watch it, beware because spoilers are definitely present in this article. 

Many hearts were broken at the end of episode 8 when Abbie Mills sacrificed herself. Abbie saved Jenny by draining her power into the shard of Anubis. Unfortunately, the shard had been damaged so it was a highly volatile vessel to contain all that power. Fearing that it would explode and destroy Ichabod, Jenny and the town of Sleepy Hollow, Abbie stepped inside Pandora's evil tree and went straight to the underworld with a volatile shard of Anubis in her hands. 

And now with her disappearance, Jenny and Ichabod Crane will be left devastated. Jenny will turn to Joe's shoulders which could fuel their flame and lead to a blossoming romance between the two. "They [Jenny and Joe] have a very significant arc in Episode 9," the executive producer of "Sleepy Hollow" Albert Kim told TVLine, "And their relationship kind of hits some milestones in that one." 

Ichabod, on the other hand, will feel incomplete with the love of his life missing. Fans are speculating that with Agent Mills' diverse skills, she will find a way to get back to Earth and continue the love story everyone is rooting for. But there are also some speculations that Nicole Beharie will leave the show thus prompting the team to kill her off.
