ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 20, 2016 -- Valmie Resources (OTCBB:VMRI) turned heads literally and figuratively this year with its bold entry into the commercial drone industry. Recent headlines affirm the Company’s unique technology and a 333 Exemption that allows its drones to fly the skies of the American airspace whereas others must adhere to the strict policies of the FAA (fly under 400ft, stay in line of site of the drone, etc).
Pedigree in hand, Valmie’s Vertitek also made news in the last few weeks with efforts to grow their drone racing team and their market. Both are compelling.
For starters, Valmie’s Aerolift Express announced high-level meetings in the nation of Trinidad and Tobago where the Company’s team made a formal presentation with Cargo Consolidators Agency Limited, an international logistics company based in Port of Spain, Trinidad. The group had previously met with Valmie’s AeroLift and entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Cargo Consolidators to explore implementing AeroLift’s unmanned aerial technologies for the purpose of pipeline and platform monitoring, coastal studies, and air cargo transport in the Trinidad and Tobago region. Such an agreement, if realized, would further Valmie’s presence in the vast drone market and assert their technology in this specific lane of commercial drone use. Aerolift Express also met with the Trinidadian Coast Guard, major international energy companies. and government officials viewed the AeroLift presentation. (Source: http://yhoo.it/2cxft7F)
As we have said previously, in hot markets many aspiring companies will emerge with glossy business plans and optimistic business models assuring a bright future in said vertical. Less still will ever accomplish revenue or difficult regulatory permissions requisite to achieve any modicum of success. Valmie’s 333 Exemption and operational growth stands out in an ever-growing, competitive industry airspace.
Adding to the stake of the aforementioned business development is a sizzling entry into the skies of competitive drone racing. It’s an interesting addition to the Valmie corporate fleet, literally, as it allows the Company to spread its technological wings among both its peer group and a growing fan base for drone racing. A recent release shows that they are putting considerable resources behind this initiative. (Source: http://yhoo.it/2d4G7E4)
It’s been a busy few weeks for Valmie and its diversified efforts to grow its business and its brand, both with races in the skies and a race to market on the ground below.
