The divorce rumors of Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo is still making its round on the web despite being proven that it’s pure fiction. The whispers began when the actress deleted some of her photos on Instagram leading others to believe there’s tension in the relationship of the Korean power couple, International Business Times reported.
A couple of weeks later, Song Hye Kyo was seen at an airport without her wedding ring, further fanning the flames that she has separated with Song Joong Ki. After the rumor ballooned on the web, some fans have come forward to explain the situation.
One avid follower of Song Hye Kyo on Instagram said that deleting photos on her account isn’t an unusual behavior of the actress. In fact, she’s been habitually taking down pictures on her account in an attempt to keep her life relatively private. With regards to the actress not wearing her wedding ring, it’s supposedly a cultural thing that’s been practiced by those living in South Korea. So to clarify, Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo are not going through a divorce.
As for their respective careers, Song Joong Ki recently flew to Brunei last week to film his fantasy drama “Asadal Chronicles.” The series will be dropping in May. Meanwhile, Song Hye Kyo recently announced that she’s going to be taking a break from acting.
“It's only been a short while since my drama ended so I don't have plans for a new project yet. I'm searching for a good scenario and drama. I want to greet fans with good production in the near future. I want to have personal time. I came to think that I need some time of my own. I think I'll be resting for a while,” Song Hye Kyo said. However, Song Joong Ki’s wife did say that she’s interested in working with director Wong Kar-wai again to gauge how much she’s matured ever since their last collaboration.
