South Korean Composite Consumer Sentiment Index falls in July

The South Korean composite Consumer Sentiment Index dropped 4.5 points to 101 in July, showed the Bank of Korea in a report. Consumer confidence about current living standards fell three points to 91, whereas the future outlook fell to 97.

Consumer sentiments as to future household income and future spending dropped two points from July to 99 and 105, respectively. Consumer confidence regarding current domestic economic conditions fell 7 points to 77 in July, while that concerning future domestic economic conditions dropped 9 points to 87. The expected inflation rate for the following year came in at 2.6 percent.
