The hit comic book character by Marvel Comics turned TV series by Netflix is set to return for another season. With the premier of the first season on April 2015 up until the last episode, Daredevil has been a huge success thus it is with no doubt that Netflix and Marvel would want to have a second season of it.
The one year hiatus will finally come to an end as the second season is set to premiere in March 2016. Fans will finally get to see their superhero again as Charlie Cox reprise his role as Matt Murdock/Daredevil. The team hinted on what to expect for the second season announcing that more action and suspense will come our way.
We will also get to welcome new characters and new problems for our protagonist. All thanks to Netflix, sneak peeks for Elektra has gone viral. Elodie Yung is set to play Daredevil's ex-girlfriend. The 'Daredevil' showrunner described the character as the "...best bad girlfriend you can possibly have... she's the id, the wild side..."
But what excites the fans the most is the coming of Punisher/Frank Castle which will be played by Jon Bernthal. He will be the exact opposite of Daredevil's way of handling criminals. He is known to kill criminals whether it may be legal or against the justice system. Many fans have so much expectations for the arrival of Punisher that they have made theories as to how the two will clash in the show.
March is just months away and time definitely flies so fast so the wait will be bearable. In the meantime, let us wait for further updates. 'Daredevil' Season 2 premieres on Netflix.
