MIDVALE, Utah, Jan. 11, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sportsman’s Warehouse (Nasdaq:SPWH) is expanding its operations to include new retail locations in Prescott, Arizona, Rock Springs, Wyoming and Gillette, Wyoming. The Prescott store will be the sixth store in Arizona and located in the Frontier Village Shopping Center. In Rock Springs, Wyoming, the new store will be located at 1537 Dewar Dr, in Rock Springs. The Gillette, Wyoming the store will be located in the KG Town Center. These two Wyoming stores will bring the number of Sportsman’s Warehouse locations in the state to four. All of these locations will be small format stores and will open in the summer of 2016. Combined with the locations previously announced these stores bring the total of announced locations for 2016 to nine new locations as the Company continues to execute its growth strategy.
These stores will feature an extensive selection of hunting, fishing and camping equipment geared toward the local market, as well as a wide range of apparel and footwear. As with all Sportsman’s Warehouse locations, the store will also feature instruction, seminars and special events related to outdoor activities.
