Indulge in Starbucks Tokyo’s Exclusive Three-Floor Holiday Drinks, from Rum Raisin to Kyoto Tea

Starbucks is embracing the holiday spirit with a new festive lineup at Tokyo’s Reserve Roastery, debuting on November 1. This year’s exclusive holiday offerings center around the theme “Coffee Tree Wonder,” celebrating “Christmas happiness brought to you by coffee.” The Reserve Roastery will feature a variety of sensory experiences, including unique installations and seasonal treats.

The main attraction is a 3.5-meter (11.5-foot) “Holiday Coffee Tree” accompanied by a “laser illumination” display. This display will project images of Santa Claus and coffee-loving animals from coffee-producing regions, creating a festive scene on the ground floor from 2 to 10 p.m. daily until Dec. 25.

While taking in the decorations, visitors can enjoy limited-edition drinks available on each of the Reserve Roastery’s three floors:

  • Winter Rum Raisin Irish Coffee (1,100 yen for dine-in, 1,080 yen for takeout): Available on the first floor at the Main Bar, this non-alcoholic beverage brings the essence of an Irish coffee, crafted by Nobuyoshi Shimoda, Starbucks’ 18th “Coffee Ambassador.” Combining espresso, rum raisin sauce, and allspice, the drink is topped with rum raisin mousse foam inspired by the snowy landscapes of Sapporo.
  • Kyoto Japanese Tea Tea Latte (1,100 yen for dine-in, 1,080 yen for takeout): Served at the Teavana Bar on the second floor, this twist on a classic Earl Grey latte incorporates Japanese black tea from Kyoto and Kochi’s Tosa Bergamot. The result is a rich flavor profile enhanced by honey mousse for a touch of sweetness.
  • Arriviamo Frozen Espresso Custard (2,200 yen; dine-in only): This dessert cocktail, inspired by the Italian winter cocktail Bombardino, is available on the third floor. It combines brandy, custard cream, and espresso for a sweet, balanced treat. The drink is topped with corn potage-flavored whipped cream and a cookie straw. A non-alcoholic mocktail version is also available.

Holiday Cakes and Festive Panettone Delight Visitors at Starbucks Tokyo’s Princi Bakery

Complementing the beverages are holiday cakes at the Princi bakery, including the Panettone Chocolato Marrone (20 cm in diameter; 7,810 yen), a chestnut- and hazelnut-infused chocolate panettone, and the Panettone Classico, a fruit-flavored variation with a melt-in-your-mouth texture, available for 7,090 yen. The Panettone Classico will also be sold through Starbucks’ official online store.

The festive decorations and panettone will be available through December 25, while the holiday beverages will remain on the menu until February. 14, providing visitors ample time to experience the seasonal offerings.
