Cartoon Network has already teased fans about “Steven Universe” season 6 with a preview trailer of the season 5 conclusion. Speculations about a 25th episode for season 5 are no longer “up-in-the-air” as “Steven Universe” season 6 is set to tie all the loose ends that the last season left for fans.
In the preview, we get to see a less antagonistic interaction between The Crystal Gems and Blue and Yellow Diamond. There isn't any visual confirmation about any of the characters that got “poofed” last season, such as Lapis Lazuli, but the direction that the previews are going in seems to emphasize that Season 6 will be less about the conflict that created sides amongst the Crystal Gems and more about the potential reconciliation that Steven will bring as Rose Quartz's son.
In anticipation of the season 6 preview, the Cartoon Network official Twitter account posted photos of their Steven Universe booth at the San Diego Comic Con (SDCC).
