“Stranger Things” season 4 is happening, and this was confirmed by the show producer Shawn Levy and Netflix. The streaming giant released a video teaser in late September, and it says, “We’re not in Hawkins anymore” while showing “4” in the background.
The series' renewal
Also, Levy already mentioned last year that “Stranger Things” season 4 will definitely be produced. In his interview with Collider, he clearly said that the fourth installment is coming, and there could even be more after it.
“I mean I will say we have a good sense of stuff that happens in season four. Season four is definitely happening,” he told the publication. “There’s very much the possibility of a season beyond that one, that’s currently undecided.”
What to expect?
“Stranger Things” season 4 may offer unexpected story twists, and this info came from Levy himself as well. He explained that even if they always start off with some major arcs in every season, the possibilities for big changes to occur is high.
“We’re always ready for shifts and surprises because if the Duffers stumble into a different or surprising inspiration while they rewrite the script, we’re going to follow that inspiration and throw out some ideas in order to embrace some new ones that are more exciting,” Levy said.
Filming schedule prediction
The date of filming for “Stranger Things” season 4 was said to have been set for January 2020. TV Line reported that it can confirm that the fourth installment will begin the shoot in early next year and may wrap up in August.
However, a resident of Rome, Georgia, posted photos of the cars being used in the series, Mathew Cook and the others who have seen the vehicles being moved to their area are convinced that “Stranger Things” season 4 filming has started and that was in July. With these details, the real date of filming has become confusing.
Hopper’s return - Is he alive?
Fans of the show have been trying to figure out if Jim Hopper is alive or not. To get an answer, they began looking for hints, and according to them, there are many clues that suggest he did not die as his body remained intact. Rather than being blown up, they are saying that Hopper is trapped in the Upside Down. Another theory is that he is being held captive by the Russians, which means that the next mission when “Stranger Things” season 4 returns is to bring Hopper back.
