On April 7, LEGOLAND Florida Resort will unveil its newest on-site accommodations, LEGOLAND Beach Retreat, a sprawling, village-style vacation resort with 83 beach-themed bungalows and outdoor fun for the whole family. To help showcase the fun new property, LEGOLAND teamed with YourUpdateTV and D S Simon Media on a nationwide media tour featuring Brand Ambassador for LEGOLAND, Grace Brixa, and travel and parenting blogger Tara Settembre.
Designed with the same attention to detail and kid-centric features that made Florida’s LEGOLAND Hotel an immediate hit, LEGOLAND Beach Retreat is the perfect destination for your next “fun in the sun” vacation. With its giant swimming pool, sandy play area and endless options for outdoor play, it’s ideal for larger families and groups vacationing together.
The bungalows resemble giant structures built out of LEGO bricks and are filled with whimsical LEGO décor inside and out. They’re arranged in horseshoe-shaped groupings called “coves” that are named after popular LEGO Minifigures. Each cove has its own outdoor play area, giving mom and dad the chance to relax on a shaded patio while the kids run wild. Next to the pool is The Lighthouse, a centrally located clubhouse that includes a buffet restaurant, retail shop, pool bar and a giant LEGO play area inspired by sandcastles.
Thanks to Florida’s abundant sunshine, LEGOLAND Beach Retreat offers a classic summer vacation year round, with all the fun and kid-focused amenities guests have come to expect from LEGOLAND Florida Resort. But if you get tired of the beach, there’s plenty more to do at LEGOLAND Florida Resort, the place #BuiltForKids…
LEGO NINJAGO World is an all-new theme park land filled with several hands-on, outdoor activities where kids can sharpen their ninja skills before the ultimate showdown on LEGO NINJAGO The Ride, a dazzling new attraction that blends 3D computer animation, “4D” special effects such as heat, fog and strobe lighting, and groundbreaking interactive technology never seen outside a LEGOLAND theme park.
Based on the popular LEGO building sets and the popular “LEGO NINJAGO: Masters of Spinjitzu” TV show, the ride is an evolutionary leap in theme park technology, allowing kids to fight 3D bad guys with simple ninja hand gestures, giving them an active role in an exciting adventure that brings familiar characters and locations to life.
