Filming for “Supernatural” Season 14 is officially underway and fans of the long-running series can rejoice. The people behind the project have shared photos on social media, which provides viewers with an idea as to what they can expect from the upcoming season. The images also touch on major spoiler territory, so for anyone who hasn’t seen the end of Season 13, there are major spoilers ahead.
This confirmation came from series executive producer Jim Michaels himself, who tweeted photos of the set that they are starting with. Fans of the show should be quite familiar with the location of the set from the images alone. That’s right, “Supernatural” Season 14 is starting filming in the “Men of Letters” bunker.

Viewers will remember that the last season ended with what was left of the group coming back to the bunker. Dean had once again made the ultimate sacrifice for his brother Sam, while Cass, Mary, and Bobby were left stunned at the events, SPNHunters notes.
With filming for “Supernatural” Season 14 finally underway, fans are left to wonder what will happen to the brothers. This is where the photos shared by Michaels come in handy.
The bunker would be the perfect place for the new season to start because it’s where the team is likeliest to find ways to solve the whole “Michael taking over Dean” situation. The underground area is full of lore about Archangels and the supernatural. Perhaps Cass can pull another rabbit out of a hat.
It’s worth noting that “Supernatural” Season 14 is set to be only 20 episodes long, Carter Matt reports. That is still much longer than most other TV shows, but it’s also shorter than previous seasons. It’s hard to be upset at this news, though, considering how long this show has been going. Production will reportedly last until Spring, with details about the new season undoubtedly getting leaked along the way.
