Suri Cruise 2018: 12-Year-Old Supposedly Sent Letters to Reconnect with Dad Tom Cruise; Actor Reportedly Wants to Meet Daughter

Suri Cruise just made the headlines when it was reported that she has been sending letters to her dad Tom Cruise. It was added that the 12-year-old also called the “Mission Impossible” superstar in an effort to reconnect with him.

Now, after these stories came out, it was said that Katie Holme’s ex-husband is now trying to meet up with his daughter whom he has not seen for more than five years now. Tom Cruise read all of his daughter’s letters and made sure he did not miss a thing, according to Radar Online.

Based on the reports, Suri Cruise and her dad could not keep in touch because of The Church of Scientology. It was alleged that all members of this group are not allowed to contact those who have already left the faith. This is supposedly an order and it is required to disconnect from former members.

As everyone already knows, Katie Holmes withdrew from Scientology and broke up with her husband. The religion was reportedly one of the main causes why the “Dawson’s Creek” star decided to divorce Tom Cruise, who is very involved in the controversial church.

Now, it was claimed that since Tom Cruise has an important place in and is one of the most avid contributors to the church, he thinks he can circumvent the strict regulation. Thus, he allegedly decided to set up a meeting with daughter Suri Cruise.

"Tom’s paving the way to come back into Suri’s life permanently,” the so-called insider told Radar. “He’s contacted Suri through a third party, who he trusts implicitly, to check in and make sure she’s okay."

In the past, various tabloids wrote that Tom could not meet his daughter even if wanted to because of Katie Holmes. It was said that the actor did not turn his back on his daughter and in fact, Suri and her dad have secretly contacted each other over the years. Plus, Tom even sent her gifts every year for her birthday and holidays like Christmas, Hollywood Life reported.

Suri Cruise grew up with her dad until she was six. Her parents Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes separated in 2012 and since then she has been estranged from her father. While the actor appears to be single, his ex-wife is now dating another Hollywood actor, Jamie Foxx.
