Suri Cruise has yet again been dragged into the rumor mill after NW (via Gossip Cop) ran an article stating that the 12-year-old isn’t too fond of Katie Holmes’s recent decisions. The tabloid claimed that the child is pissed at her mom for deciding that Jamie Foxx is going to be moving in with them.
“When Katie brought it up, she never imagined Suri [Cruise] would react that way. Suri never seemed to mind having Jamie around before. But she’s been giving her mom the cold shoulder ever since,” an unknown source of the tabloid said.
Of course, if NW’s reputation is anything to go by, this is another bogus story. Reputable publications already established that Katie Holmes is not moving in with Jamie Foxx. There has been a slew of articles alleging that the pair bought an apartment in New York which supposedly cost $56 million. This supposed apartment is said to be where Suri Cruise, Katie Holmes, and Jamie Foxx will live together.
However, Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes themselves already said that although they are seeing each other, they want to live their lives separately. This is especially true for Holmes given her experience with her ex-husband, Tom Cruise. The “Dawson's Creek” alum is also quite protective of Suri Cruise and is prioritizing her daughter above everything else, including her unofficial relationship with the Django actor.
NW added that part of what’s upsetting Suri Cruise is that she wants to spend more time with her estranged father, Tom Cruise. The magazine claimed that the 12-year-old misses her father and wants to spend time her old man.
This is another false assumption since Tom Cruise hasn’t even personally seen Suri Cruise for years. The last time the two were photographed together was back in September 2013, shortly after the actor’s divorce with Katie Holmes was finalized.
There’s also the fact that Tom Cruise hasn’t even bothered to see her daughter for five years even though the custody agreement permits him to visit her for 10 days each month. So how can Suri Cruise miss someone who hasn’t even been with her for the past half-decade?
As for NW itself, the publication has time and again proven that it’s not a reliable source of information given the myriad false stories it has published over the years. For instance, the tabloid claimed that Angelina Jolie is pissed at Jennifer Aniston as the latter has supposedly been hanging with the former’s children. Obviously, the piece has easily been found to be untrue and this story regarding Suri Cruise is but another lie that NW is peddling.
