Swiss watch exports to India rose 28.5% in January through September 2026, while October announcements from Franck Muller and TAG Heuer came after the measured period and featured local design cues.

The Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry (FH) recorded exports valued at CHF 266.4 million over the nine-month period, up from CHF 207.3 million in January through September 2025. India placed 14th among the federation’s 30 largest markets.

The totals reflect export values based on prices reported by exporters. FH says its monthly series draws on foreign-trade records compiled by Switzerland’s Federal Customs Administration, and that the figures may be revised. The measure does not track purchases at Indian shops or break out results for a single watchmaker, so it cannot show whether one brand gained sales.

Kapoor Watch Co. said the Franck Muller Vanguard “Ram Lalla” was unveiled in New Delhi on Oct. 21 as a 108-piece edition. The 108-piece edition has a rose-gold case measuring 41 mm by 49.95 mm. WatchTime India reported that the model is priced at ₹31.25 lakh.

Kapoor Watch Co.’s announcement says TAG Heuer’s Carrera India edition is limited to 250 pieces, uses 13 scripts for its hour markers and draws dial colors from the Indian flag. Mint reported a price of ₹5.76 lakh for the Carrera.

WatchTime India quoted Guillaume Boilot, TAG Heuer’s Managing Director, Middle-East, India, Africa and Turkey, as saying India-focused editions can “help build awareness and attract potential customers.” The publication also reported that Franck Muller and Kapoor Watch Co. released an earlier India-exclusive edition in 2022.

The export data do not establish whether the new watches will add to sales in India. FH’s next scheduled release, covering October exports, is due Nov. 19.
