“Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld” episode 12 is coming up next, and it will mark the end of this season. It will follow the previous story titled “Hearthless Choice,” where the decoy force learned that Vecta just ordered his army to cross a deep chasm that was placed there by Asuna to protect the Human Empire from the Dark Territory invaders.
In episode 11, The army set up suspended ropes to cross, but they failed as Alice, Asuna, and their team made a counter-attack by cutting the ropes, and some of Vecta’s people eventually plunged to their deaths. In the real world in Ocean Turtle, Critter made an announcement that a new beta test for an upcoming version of VRMMO is up and but this was only a lie for the players in the U.S. to sign up.
The VRMMO beta test launched
Critter disabled the fluctlight acceleration and invited players to register for a PvP slaughter VRRMO which is not really a game but a mission to kill everyone. The true purpose of the false beta test is to totally destroy the SAO survivors and the Human Empire. This is because as many players join in the enemy’s team, it will be impossible to defeat them even with their powers.
As Yui discovered this strategy, she warned Asuna, Kirito, and the rest. In an effort to save the SAO survivors and Human Empire, Lisbeth pleaded with the Japanese players to help the Underworld against the attack from the American players. As this is happening, around 20,000 gamers from the U.S. is ready to sign up, and they will immediately be sent to the bottomless chasm and enter the Human Empire’s base.
