There are a lot of questions with regards to what fate awaits Eugeo and Kirito following their decision to break the Taboo Index in the previous episode. It was revealed that they were going to meet someone who might be Alice, but this is not guaranteed. There are too many unknown factors in the show, right now. In fact, “Sword Art Online Alicization” Episode 11 might see the pair getting sentenced to death.
Breaking the Taboo Index carries with it some penalties and a crime that involves death would understandably be quite serious. This is why there are now fears that the death of one of the nobles in the previous episode might come back to bite Kirito big time. It’s clear based on the preview for “Sword Art Online Alicization” Episode 11, at least, that the two are going to be jailed.
Just to show how the authorities are taking the violation of the Taboo Index seriously, they even sent someone who looks like a high-ranking official who will transport them on the back of a dragon. This just goes to show how much of a threat Eugeo and Kirito have become to the virtual world’s natural order. The decision to execute them in “Sword Art Online Alicization” Episode 11 would not be surprising, in the least.
Even so, it would not seem that this is going to be the case. At worst, there might be a trial that concludes that the two can no longer attend the academy and give up being swordsmen. If this does end up happening in “Sword Art Online Alicization” Episode 11, it would present quite the interesting dilemma.
In any case, fans will simply have to wait until Dec. 16 to find out exactly what happens in “Sword Art Online Alicization” Episode 11. The blonde knight could be Alice or she could be someone else entirely.
