BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Nov. 06, 2017 -- TOMI Environmental Solutions, Inc. (“TOMI”) (OTCQX:TOMZ), a global decontamination company that specializes in disinfection/decontamination sales and services, including SteraMist™, a hydrogen peroxide-based mist/fog registered with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) for use as a hospital-healthcare disinfectant, has secured registration rights through the regulatory body of Health Canada, Health Products and Food branch to sell TOMI’s full suite of SteraMist™ products and services. This 4th quarter development demonstrates TOMI’s commitment to continue the expansion of its patented and advanced disinfection/decontamination technology to territories beyond U.S. borders.
This week’s announcement creates an opportunity for TOMI™ to end the year potentially with increased sales revenue. In expectation of this registration, TOMI™ has already lined up a Life Sciences representative, and secured many leads and potential service providers interested in a TSN license. Health Canada, the government agency responsible for helping Canadians maintain and improve their health, provided TOMI™ DIN #02469448.
TOMI™ CEO, Dr. Halden Shane, shared his enthusiasm over the registration. “We have been working on this initiative diligently for years, so this is very exciting news for us. While we have already extended our brand internationally, it was a critical piece of our operations strategy to secure registration with our Canadian neighbors. I am hoping that this will be the first of many key strategic international registrations to be granted this year and early 2018. The lack of these registrations in certain key countries has delayed TOMI™ from meaningful international revenue.”
About TOMI Environmental Solutions, Inc.
TOMI Environmental Solutions, Inc. (OTCQX:TOMZ) is a global decontamination and infection prevention company, providing environmental solutions for indoor surface disinfection through manufacturing, sales and licensing of its premier Binary Ionization Technology® (BIT™) platform, which was invented under a defense grant in association with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) of the U.S. Department of Defense. TOMI also develops training programs and application protocols for its clients and is a member in good standing of The American Biological Safety Association, The American Association of Tissue Banks, Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America and The Restoration Industry Association.
