ORLANDO, July 18, 2017 -- TOPdesk, a global leading provider of service management software, today announces the launch of TOPdesk Innovation Platform. TOPdesk Innovation Platform provides users the ability to provide instant feedback to TOPdesk leadership about products, updates and services offered from the service management software maker. Through TOPdesk Innovation Platform, users receive an even better customer experience, and can be more directly engaged in product development.

Users can use the TOPdesk Innovation Platform, to access a transparent, suggestion-based portal where they can submit product suggestions, ideas, and product innovation requests for possible inclusion in future editions of TOPdesk’s ITSM solutions.
TOPdesk Innovation Platform, also known as TIP, is a receptive-based technology, meaning it helps TOPdesk leaders and developers make data-driven product decisions based on direct feedback from users. Therefore, users can expect the following benefits from TIP:
- Easy submission of product suggestions to TOPdesk
- The ability to view the suggestions of others
- The ability to vote for ideas and suggestions they like best or find the most benefit in
- Set the priority of their requested features
- TOPdesk developers can engage with users regarding feedback
- Users can reply to each other’s feedback and read about new, planned product features
Users can view all other user suggestions and vote for the ones they most want. Any suggestions can be prioritized by users; and they can review all details of a request and provide additional input about the idea through a discussion forum.
If a user suggestion has previously been made, TIP automatically lists these on the user’s screen where they can select from topics previously submitted by another user or they can choose to move forward with their own unique suggestion. Users who wish to submit a suggestion of their own provide details about the requested feature, the reason for it and a description of their current workaround within TOPdesk’s service management solution.
Given that TOPdesk’s solutions are continuously deployed, constantly updated and released to users in real time, suggestions that are accepted and approved for development by TOPdesk can potentially be delivered to users in a matter of days or weeks.
“Hopefully TOPdesk users embrace the TIP feature and participate in the development of making our solutions better for all users,” said Nancy Van Elsacker Louisnord, president of TOPdesk US. “Additionally, I think by encouraging more of a direct interaction with those who trust us with their service management needs, we’ll be able to be even more transparent in how we strategize and develop products, while reinforcing our reputation of being an honest, straightforward and trustworthy company.”
