“Tangled: The Series” Season 3 is slated to come out this year, but Disney channel remains mum about its release date. While it was initially assumed that the third entry for the series would arrive sometime in June or July, the speculation proved off the mark.
So when is “Tangled: The Series” Season 3 coming out? Well, if we’re going to guess, our best bet is the month of September.
The presumption is rooted in the fact that there has been a three-month gap between the first and second installment. The first entry was released on March 24, 2017, while the second one dropped on June 24, 2018. Going by this pattern, we can assume that “Tangled: The Series” Season 3 will arrive on September 24, 2019.

Of course, this is merely a guess at this point, and only Disney and the series creators are privy to the exact release date of the final entry. And speaking of which, a lot of fans have been asking if “Tangled: The Series” Season 3 will indeed be the end of Rapunzel’s (Mandy Moore) adventures.
Going by how everything has unfolded, that appears to be the case. “Tangled: The Series” Season 3 will now be dealing with the betrayal of Cassandra (Eden Espinosa) after she took the all-powerful Moonstone Opal. With the stakes ever higher, it seems that the showrunners are gearing up for one explosive entry that would finally solve the mystery surrounding the bare-footed princess’ powers.
It’s still unclear how this twist will affect the plotline of “Tangled: The Series” Season 3 since Disney is keeping everything under wraps. But one thing is for certain, Rapunzel, Eugene (Zachary Levi), and the rest of our titular adventurers are in for one massive fight.

“Tangled: The Series” Season 3 will also be revealing Cassandra’s motivation and provide an explanation as to why she took the Opal for herself. While she did say that she was fulfilling her own destiny, she didn’t elaborate about her betrayal.
With regards to the episode count, “Tangled: The Series” Season 3 will have 36, the largest among all the entries so far. This is another indication that Disney will be ending the show’s three-year run as was originally intended.
