‘The 100’ season 4’s episode 4, titled “A Lie Guarded," is set to feature the impending threat of chaos and violence in Arkadia and Polis as leadership remains in limbo. Meanwhile, Abby will lead a team on a new mission to a distant land.
The brief synopsis for “A Lie Guarded” posted on TV.com states, “Doubts of leadership and trust in Arkadia and Polis devolve into violence. Elsewhere, Abby (Paige Turco) leads a team on a search for answers in a distant locale.”
As the rivalry between Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and Raven (Lindsey Morgan) heightens, clashes over leadership will lead to imminent rebellion and eruption of violence in Polis and Arkadia. Clarke’s reappearance in Arkadia resulted in several disagreements between her and Raven, considering their differing personalities as well as leadership styles.
The promo hints at the dissolution of old alliances in favor of new ones. The popular post-apocalyptic science-fiction drama television series may continue to surprise viewers with new characters as well as unexpected pairings and partnerships.
Although Clarke and Bellamy’s (Bob Morley) relationship may have been healed, Taylor revealed that her character Clarke may not get involved in anything romantic in season 4. According to Mashable, the actress said, "There's just so much else going on that she doesn't really have time for relationships right now.”
Taylor continued, “I think she's grieving for Lexa. But at the same time she's open to moving on, I guess. I don't know. I really want her to get it on with someone. I think it would be great. But they don't tell me if that's happening."
The series also followed Octavia’s (Marie Avgeropoulos) new role in Polis under the rule of King Roan (Zach McGowan). Avgeropoulus’ character managed to evolve into a hired assassin.
Meanwhile, Abby is set to lead a mission to a distant land. As revealed in promotional photographs posted on Hypable, Abby’s team consists of Raven, Emori (Luisa D'Oliveira), Jackson (Sachin Sahel), Murphy (Richard Harmon), Nyko (Ty Olsson), Luna (Nadia Hilker), and Miller (Jarod Joseph).
‘The 100’ season 4’s episode 4, titled “A Lie Guarded," is scheduled to air on The CW on February 22, 2017. It was directed by Ian Samoil and written by Kim Shumway. It will be followed by episode 5, titled "The Tinder Box," directed by John F. Showalter and scheduled to be released on March 1.
