‘The Big Bang Theory’ Season 10, Episode 12 Spoilers: "The Holiday Summation" – Sheldon Reveals to Mom Living Arrangements with Amy; Howard, Bernadette Adjust as New Parents

‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 10’s episode 12, titled "The Holiday Summation," is set to feature Sheldon as he visits his mom Mary in Texas over the holidays. He is set to reveal his living arrangements with Amy but the news won’t sit well with his mother. Meanwhile, Howard and Bernadette struggle to adjust as new parents to baby Hallie.

The synopsis for “The Holiday Summation” posted on IMDB reads, “After spending the holidays apart, the gang gets together to hear about Sheldon's (Jim Parsons) and Amy's (Mayim Bialik) trip to his mother's (Laurie Metcalf), Leonard's (Johnny Galecki) and Penny's (Kaley Cuoco) Christmas tree adventure, and Howard's (Simon Helberg) and Bernadette's (Melissa Rauch) first days as parents.”

In the extended sneak preview for episode 12, Sheldon (Jim Parsons) visits his and Leonard’s old apartment where he is now living with his wife Penny. He asks them in annoyance, “Is that a mistletoe? Don’t you maniacs own a calendar?” In the next scene, Sheldon attempts to explain his behavior and tells Bernadette, “I was acting odd intentionally,” to which Bernadette retorts, “You couldn’t control it?”

The scene then cuts to Sheldon getting his ear pierced. It seems that he has a low tolerance for pain when he screams out during the process. Finally, Sheldon is seen sharing a holiday dinner with his girlfriend Amy and mother Mary. He then proceeds to tell Mary, “Amy and I are living together in sin like a couple of New Yorkers.”

By the end of the promo, Bernadette emerges from the bedroom looking disheveled wondering why she and Howard decided to have a baby in the first place.

The incoming episode is set to focus heavily on Sheldon and his trip to his mother’s home in Texas. According to Yahoo! News, Sheldon’s revelation of his living arrangements with Amy won’t go well with his mother, who is a devout Catholic woman.

Meanwhile, first-time parents Howard and Bernadette realize that their lives have been turned upside-down with the arrival of their daughter Hallie. It seems that the incoming episode will tackle their challenges as they struggle to adjust to their newfound parenthood.

Leonard and Kaley will also have to face the consequences of deciding to chop down their own Christmas tree. The two will find out that they have to settle their differences when it comes to making collective decisions together.
