‘The Blacklist’ season 4’s episode 19, titled “Dr. Bogdan Krilov,” will follow Red as he hunts down a Blacklister notorious for manipulating memories. The Blacklister will also manipulate Liz, which causes her to question herself. Meanwhile, Gale will continue his investigation against Red.
The synopsis for “Dr. Bogdan Krilov” posted on TV Guide reads, “Red (James Spader) assigns the task force to trail a Blacklister who can manipulate memories and Liz (Megan Boone) questions her own experiences.
Also: Gale's (Enrique Murciano) investigation intensifies and Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) gets a new lead regarding the disappearance of a Justice Department official.”
The upcoming episode will follow Red and his team as they pursue a Blacklister named Dr. Krilov. It was revealed that Krilov has the ability to manipulate any person’s memory, which leads them to doubt their own personal experiences. Dr. Krilov’s current target is Elizabeth Keen.
The promo opens to Red trying to bargain with Mr. Kaplan (Susan Blommaert) but it seems that she will do whatever she can to get her revenge. According to Christian Post, she is set to use Dr. Krilov to make her next move. Mr. Kaplan is well aware that Liz is Red’s weakness, and will send Dr. Krilov to break her.
In another scene from the promo, Liz and Krilov are seen talking. Krilov warns her that she will remember certain things about Red and it is presumably the disconcerting kind. It will be interesting to see what secrets Red has been hiding the entire time.
Meanwhile, FBI investigator Julian Gale will continue his investigation against Red while Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) receives a new lead on the disappearance of Justice Department official Reven Wright (Adriane Lenox). According to TV Insider, Gale partnered with Ressler a few years back in pursuit of Red.
Executive producer Jon Bokenkamp previously teased that Gale “is going to throw a wrench into the machine” and described the character as “obsessive, dedicated and driven.”
‘The Blacklist’ season 4’s episode 19, titled “Dr. Bogdan Krilov,” is scheduled to air on NBC on May 4, 2017. It will be followed by episode 20, titled "The Debt Collector," scheduled to be released on May 11.
