Fans will once again witness Reddington’s (James Spader) brilliant negotiation skills as he might find a common ground for a rival gang in prison in “The Blacklist” season 6 episode 8. Meanwhile, Liz (Megan Boone) encounters a grave danger she cannot solve alone as she continues her secret investigation.
Reddington might be one of the twisted anti-heroes on TV but his ability to talk his way out of anything has been impressive. Granted he is still in prison in “The Blacklist” season 6 episode 8 but his skills will be utilized as he “mediates” between two opposing gangs.
Reddington always ends up finding a way to make things work in his favor even in the most difficult situations. The next episode’s teaser does not say much about his upcoming prison story. But it will not be surprising if, by the end of “The Blacklist” season 6 episode 8, both gangs will be eating off the palm of his hand.

Being locked up in federal prison this long is an entirely new setup for Reddington. But the previous episodes showed how he slowly marked his territory despite not having a group to back him up. So it only makes sense that, in “The Blacklist” season 6 episode 8, he tries to get the approval of dominant gangs while working on getting back his freedom.
The official synopsis for “The Blacklist” season 6 episode 8 also indicates that Jennifer (Fiona Dourif) will join Liz on the field in their quest of finding out Reddington’s real identity. It can be recalled that the half-sisters teamed up in sending Reddington to prison so they can freely move around and find answers about their "real father."
Liz and Jennifer will track down a woman who could provide more information about Red’s past. But they will be mixed up in some trouble against a “ruthless smuggler” in “The Blacklist” season 6 episode 8. Reddington might not be around to save Liz but she will be protected by “an unexpected source.”
“The Blacklist” season 6 episode 8 is titled “Marko Jankowics” that most likely refers to the next Blacklister on the chopping block. New episodes air every Friday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
