“The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 22 may be one of the next few episodes to arrive before the show takes a break due to forthcoming harsher weather. The Lagina brothers and their team are currently focusing on the spot where they think is the original location of the Money Pit.

They are also going back and forth at the swamp that they already confirmed to be man-made due to the numerous evidence that they found. in “The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 22 titled “Marks X the Spot,” they are expected to continue the works in RF-1 borehole since they think they have reached their mark after large chunks of wood were unearthed.

Synopsis and spoilers

As per History, “The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 22’s synopsis reads: “With time running out, the ultimate breakthrough may finally be within the fellowship’s grasp and new evidence suggests Samuel Ball was guarding something of great value.”

This suggests that the team will also focus on Samuel Ball’s property in the next episode. Probably, they have finally secured the permit to dig on the spot where they previously found an anomaly in the rich farmer’s land. They believed that he could have found the Money Pit after arriving on the island in the early 1800s and this could have been the reason why he got so rich after being freed from slavery.

Ball’s home is no longer there but the framework of his house still stands. The Lagina brothers and their team of experts appeared to have found some clues that suggest Samuel Ball is protecting something valuable and it is being kept somewhere in his property. Thus, “The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 22 will feature more details about him and his land.

Episode recap

“The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 22 is also expected to continue the works where they are using a massive oscillator to see what is below the ground. In the previous “A Leaf of Faith” episode, the children of Robert Restall, Richard and Lee Lamb, were back in the island to show an artifact that they think came from the tunnel that is protecting the Money Pit.

They came with ancient acorns and oak leaf to compare with the items to the ones that are currently planted on the island and they determined that they are different. It means that there could be some truths in the stories that the oak trees planted in the 1700s were placed there to mark the spots where the treasures sit.

The Laginas also brought Richard to the shack that he and his brother lived in the 1950s and he was surprised that it is still standing though dilapidated and was told that they are planning to restore it. Lastly, Gary Drayton found a pickaxe in the debris that came 90 feet below the ground. He thinks it was left there by the original builder or searcher of the Money Pit.

“The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 22 will air on April 21 at 9 p.m. on History.
