“The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 8 will be hectic and suspenseful as the diggings continue around the Money Pit. Rick, Marty Lagina and their team stayed in the area where they believed the Money Pit lies and they have heavy equipment in place for the excavation.
Disaster struck in the Oak Island
In the new preview that was posted on Friday, Dec. 27, the Lagina brothers and their team were surprised when the excavator suddenly sunk a bit. They checked the hole and confirmed that it is caving in. the group had to remove the equipment and they waited until the next morning to see what will happen.
When the sun rises, they saw that the hole has gotten bigger and the metal plate on top of the ground that was covering it the night before has fallen inside the pit. It was filled with water now and that ended their digging in that area.
The swamp
As many people are asking why they are not exploring the swamp when the previews before the “The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 airs say that it will be the focus of the season. The viewers are also interested because the swamp holds many intriguing details that have yet to be examined like the rumored sunken boat and more.
The reason why the crew is not checking out the swamp is they are still waiting for the proper permits so they can begin digging there. It was said that this may take a while so they are currently focusing on the shafts and structures that they found in Smith’s Cove in “The Curse of Oak Island” season 7.
Spoilers and title
TV Spoilers shared that “The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 8 has been titled “First Look: Triptych” but the plot summary is not available. It is possible that they will find something related to artwork as suggested by the title.
The viewers may expect the result of the testing for the thing that they believed to be tar paper. If it is indeed what they think it is, it means that the structures that they found were built by the early treasure hunters rather than the people who deposited the treasures.
“The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 8 is set to return on Jan. 7, 2020 at 10 p.m. on History.
