Fans no longer have to guess when “The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 will premiere because History just confirmed its release date. Meanwhile, there are also various clues the new episodes would be mostly set in the Swamp.
‘The Curse of Oak Island’ season 7 release date: Show maintains November premiere
There was no doubt in most fans' minds that the show will be renewed for a seventh season. The only detail they have been asking was when the show will return. On Thursday, History finally answered that. For one, the host of the companion series “Drilling Down,” Matty Blake, had previously told fans on Instagram that “The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 is certainly happening. He teased the show’s return on a post shortly after season 6’s finale aired.
Since Blake’s confirmation, fans have been hoping the show will not be delayed and maintain a November release date for “The Curse of Oak Island” season 7. Before this week’s announcement, there were several indications that it was going to be the case. Back in June, fans near the filming site shared photos online confirming that the crew of Rick Lagina and Marty Lagina have already started their operations in the location known in the show as the Swamp.
Another clue is the fact that the show has had November premieres every year since its second season in 2014. Now, it is officially confirmed that “The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 will air on Tuesday, Nov. 5, at 9 p.m. ET.

‘The Curse of Oak Island’ season 7 spoilers, predictions: Next season focuses on the Swamp?
The digging operations carried out by the Laginas’s crew happen in various locations within the island. However, the season 6 hints at “The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 focusing on the Swamp at least for the first episodes.
One of the cliffhangers from season 6 was the possibility of unearthing an entire shipwreck from the Swamp. This has been one of the long-standing beliefs of people following Oak Island stories. Fans can only hope that the Lagina brothers would be the ones to prove it in “The Curse of Oak Island” season 7.
