‘The Flash’ season 3’s episode 15, titled “The Wrath of Savitar,” will feature the evil speedster Savitar as he targets Wally for his own bad intentions. Wally will be experiencing visions inspired by Savitar but decided to keep this from the rest of the team. Savitar will find a way to return to Earth, threatening Barry and Iris.
The brief synopsis for “The Wrath of Savitar” posted on TV Guide reads, “Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) has visions of Savitar while training with Barry (Grant Gustin), but he hides them from the team. Meanwhile, a dangerous secret threatens Barry and Iris' (Candice Patton) happiness.”
According to Comicbook.com, the team will begin to worry about Wally’s mental vulnerability towards Savitar’s powers when they learn that he had been having visions in his head inspired by Savitar. They will come to suspect that Wally may have become an unwitting spy for villainous speedster.
In the promo, Wally is experiencing strange and potentially dangerous delusions and is told by Barry that these are all in his head. Barry insists, “He was messing with your head. It was all in your mind.” Barry then voices out his concerns over Savitar possibly spying on their team through Wally.
The self-proclaimed “God of Speed” will manage to find a way back to Earth, which could spell trouble for Barry and Iris. Iris will be put in imminent danger since prophetic visions predicted her death in the hands of Savitar.
The promotional photographs for episode 15 posted on TV Fanatic shows Barry on an operating table, clearly in agony over a shrapnel pierced on his chest. Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and Julian (Tom Felton) seem to be racing against time to save him. It is unclear how Barry got this injury in the first place.
‘The Flash’ season 3’s episode 15, titled “The Wrath of Savitar,” is scheduled to air on The CW on March 7, 2017. It was directed by Alexandra La Roche and written by Andrew Kreisberg and Andrew Wilder. It will be followed by episode 16, titled "Into the Speed Force," directed by Gregory Smith and scheduled to air on March 14.
