“The Gifted” season 2 episode 16 marks this installment’s finale so fans should not miss it. The chapter is called “oMens” and the viewers will see Reeva carrying out her master plan for the Inner Circle, however, it will not be an easy task as hindrances abound.
The synopsis for “The Gifted” season 2 episode 16 reads: “Reeva prepares to carry out her plan for the Inner Circle, but not everyone is on the same page. Reed struggles to manage his powers and the family realizes that without enough of the serum, it’s only a matter of time before he completely loses control.”
Also, “Frustrated and egged on by Benedict Ryan, Jace and the Purifiers are on the attack, but for Jace, things are not as black and white as they once were.”
As stated, the Reeva Payge (Grace Byers) will lead the Inner Circle and begin the master plan of creating a mutant homeland in “The Gifted” season 2 episode 16. It should be noted that previously, Andy Strucker and Polaris already left the Inner Circle and chose to go back to the Mutant Underground so Reeva has teamed up with Benedict Ryan, the leader of the Purifiers.
With the partnership, they launched an attack to the Morlocks, the mutant community who are sewer-dwellers. Blink (Jamie Chung) was also hit in the attack and Thunderbird (Blair Redford) saw it happen. And as a good number of the mutants have also died Thunderbird will be in the revenge mode in “The Gifted” season 2 episode 16.
Comicbook obtained an image of Thunderbird in his “warrior look” and as can be seen he is furious after witnessing the fate of someone special and other mutants. He is grieving but with avenging the deaths in mind, his powers are likely to get uncontrollable in “The Gifted” season 2 episode 16.
Moreover, based in the preview, as Reeva Payge launches her scheme, she will be meeting Reed Strucker (Stephen Moyer) and it seems she finally found her match. The latter has superpowers that will be hard to deal with so one of them is likely to end up dead in “The Gifted” season 2 episode 16.
And because this is the finale, Eclipse Polaris (Emma Dumont), (Sean Teale) and the rest of the Mutant Underground will also go head to head with Reeva and her cohorts that include Jace (Coby Bell, Stepford Cuckoos (Skyler Samuels) and the Purifiers. “The Gifted” season 2 episode 16 will be on broadcast on Feb. 26 at 9 p.m. on FOX.
