Oooohs, aaahs, and sighs came out of everyone's mouth after watching Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Cami (Leah Pipes) kiss. We were all so moved and love struck when Klaus after almost three years, finally gave in and confessed his love for Cami and kissed her, complete with all the Christmas decorations surrounding them. The strictly all business relationship between the psychiatrist and patient turned to lovers. But it's not The Originals without a heart-wrenching follow up after a happy scene.
I warn you though, spoilers are lurking in this article. Stop reading, if you must.
What we thought as a happy ending and beautiful gift for the TV series' mid-season finale turned out to be heartbreaking after Klaus woke up with a lifeless Cami beside her. Many viewers hoped that there is a vampire blood in Cami's system that would allow her to come back to life, that is return to life as a bloodsucking undead. And Julie Plec, co-executive producer, as generous as she is, hinted that Cami will return but not as a human anymore. What could she be? A vampire? Or maybe a witch? Either way, it is good news for Team Klaumille!
On the other hand, rumors arose as to Aurora (Rebecca Breeds) being the suspect to Cami's death which lead to Klaus bringing hell to her. There could be a possibility that Aurora compelled Cami to kill herself if she starts dating Klaus. Aurora is known as Klaus' ex-girlfriend, an insecure, jealous and unstable ex who is still in love with Klaus.
As for Rebekah (Claire Holt), she requested Elijah (Daniel Gillies) to redagger her after knowing that she is not cured of her curse yet. It was evident in the last episode that after finding Rebekah's body and undaggering her, it turned out that she was cursed which led to her attacking Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin).
