Gowther appeared extremely confused by the end of last week's episode after realizing he has started to regain some of his memories. “The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” episode 8 should pick up from this scene as King and Diane lead to the effort to save Gowther from himself.

The manga arc where “The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” episode 8 is based suggests that this week's anime installment will show Gowther reach several places. This is part of his attempt to escape from his friends who are trying to understand what is going on and will eventually convince him not to fight the return of his precious memories. Gowther thinks the recurring thoughts of Nadja is some sort of noise or defect that he needs to fix.
Gowther likely arrives in the Lioness Kingdom first in “The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” episode 8. But the place will induce another memory of Nadja, that extremely frustrates Gowther. He will proceed to erase his memories, luckily, Diane arrives in time to stop him.
“The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” episode 8 could also include scenes where Diane and King charge attacks on Gowther. But they do not plan to hurt him. Gowther, on the other hand, is determined to fight. But he realizes it will be a futile effort after seeing that Diane's power level reaches 15,000 and King's is close to 42,000.
Gowther's only choice in “The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” episode 8 is to escape. To do so, he grabs a bystander who happens to be Veronica, and seeing her face will only trigger another memory of Nadja. He tries to use Lost World the second time to erase his memories, but Diane stops her again.
After realizing there is no way he can erase Nadja from his memory, Gowther becomes extremely sad and feels defeated in “The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” episode 8. Diane promises Gowther that the Seven Deadly Sins will always be there for him. In the manga, this promise calmed Gowther and initiates the complete return of his memories along with his full power.
'The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods' episode 8 release date
The Gowther-centered episode will air on Wednesday, Nov. 27. Unfortunately, Netflix has yet to announce when it will offer new episodes of the show, including “The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” episode 8. Fans in Asia can catch a weekly simulcast through Animax.
