‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 8’s episode 11, titled “You Made a Choice to be Good,” is set to follow Damon and Stefan as they take on Cade’s latest assignment following his return to Mystic Falls. Despite the strain in their relationship, Caroline and Matt will work together to protect the town’s residents.
The synopsis for “You Made a Choice to be Good” posted on TV Guide reads, “Cade (Wole Parks) returns to Mystic Falls and presents Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) with additional assignments, each with unthinkable consequences.
Meanwhile, Caroline (Candice King) and Matt (Zach Roerig) do their best to protect the town's residents from Cade's appetite for their souls; and Bonnie (Katerina Graham) and Enzo (Michael Malarkey) hit the road on a romantic trip, taking the bell with them in an effort to keep it safe.”
Things haven’t been going well for Damon and Stefan lately. The Salvatore brothers have been forced into a life of servitude under Cade’s command and it seems that the devil’s return to Mystic Falls will usher in more danger not just for the brothers but also for the town’s residents.
According to Christian Post, Cade will be assigning his deadly rippers a new target. It seems that the ravenous demon will be adamant on procuring a specific soul. Despite Damon and Stefan’s ruthlessness in completing such a task, they may encounter some difficulties since Caroline and Matt are ready to do everything in their power to protect the people at all costs.
In the promo, Cade tells Damon calmly, “Tonight you will kill 100 evil strangers. Or kills the love of your brother’s eye – Caroline Forbes.” Damon looks clearly conflicted by the difficult choice he has to make. Cade continues, “You can end this here and now with one particular soul.”
‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 8’s episode 11, titled “You Made a Choice to be Good,” is scheduled to air on The CW on February 3, 2017. Carol Banker directed the episode written by Melinda Hsu Taylor and Celine Geiger. It will be followed by episode 12, titled "What Are You?," scheduled for February 10.
