‘The Walking Dead’ season 7’s episode 4, entitled “Service”, is expected to run longer than the usual episode with 85 minutes. It will feature Negan paying a visit to the people of Alexandria. New photographs for the incoming episode have also been released ahead of the premiere on November 13.
According to The Independent, the fourth episode for season 7 will run longer than usual and is expected to get the full-feature treatment. The episode, entitled “Service”, will reportedly run for 85 minutes – approximately 1 hour and 25 minutes.
Although details remain a mystery, the incoming episode’s synopsis stated, “The remaining members of the group try to keep it together in Alexandria; they receive a sobering visit.” It seems that Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the rest of his group will be getting an unexpected visit from none other than Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).
One of the new photographs for episode 4 posted on Insider revealed a shadow holding a baseball bat outside the gated community. It is unclear how Negan and his friend, the barb-wired baseball bat named Lucille, found their way to Alexandria. It was also teased that Negan brought his Saviors along for the visit, namely Dwight (Austin Amelio) and probably Daryl (Norman Reedus) as well.
During a previous interview, Lincoln teased how the community back in Alexandria would react to the series’ recent events. He said, “All I will say is that this is a rocky road. It’s a shocking beginning to a season, but it is the beginning of a season.”
He continued, “That’s what people have to remember. This is where we begin, after the quake. This season is about rebuilding and about characters dealing with the trauma and grief of this brutal attack, but also this new regime that they are now a part of. And each react in their own individual ways. It’s more Lord of the Rings than Lord of the Flies this season.”
‘The Walking Dead’ season 7’s episode 4, entitled “Service”, is scheduled to premiere on AMC on November 13, 2016.
