The Walking Dead’ season 7’s episode 5, entitled “Go Getters”, will find Maggie seeking refuge at Hilltop following Negan’s attack on their group. However, she has to face a siege of the colony by the Saviors. Meanwhile, Gregory may strike an interesting deal with the gang following disappointment at how Rick and his group handled the Saviors.
The brief synopsis for “Go Getters” posted on Comicbook.com stated, "Saddled with grief and surrounded by enemies, members of the group try to find safety at the Hilltop before it's too late." In the incoming episode, Maggie (Lauren Cohan) escapes to Hilltop to seek refuge after witnessing Negan’s (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) attack on their group.
In the season premiere, she had to watch Negan bludgeon her husband Glenn (Steven Yeun) to death. She continues to experience complications from pregnancy and is still reeling with grief. Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green), who also witnessed her significant other Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) beaten to death, accompanies Maggie in Hilltop.
The preceding episode, entitled “Service”, featured Negan’s appearance in Alexandria. The series’ latest protagonist arrived in Alexandria to collect his tribute from the community. Unbeknownst to Maggie, Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) and Rick (Andrew Lincoln) faked her death on Negan’s arrival in attempts to spare her from his attention.
Meanwhile, Gregory (Xander Berkeley) is set to return to the series as the selfish and arrogant leader of the Hilltop Colony. In the promo, Gregory says, “Maggie said that her people could take care of the Saviors. So far, all they’ve done is put our community at risk.” According to Undeadwalking.com, the incumbent leader of the Hilltop Colony expressed his disapproval of Rick and his group’s failure to hold up their end of the bargain with the Saviors.
The next scene showed a siege of Hilltop by the Saviors. Gregory doesn’t look thrilled to have them around and is forced to strike a deal with the nefarious gang. Meanwhile, Sasha looks ready to do battle.
‘The Walking Dead’ season 7’s episode 5, entitled “Go Getters”, is scheduled to air on AMC on November 20, 2016.
