The imminent spin-off is the sixth entry in the series, with its predecessor, “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon,” premiering in early 2023. The main premise of “The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live” was established in the original franchise's series finale episode, which took years to develop.
