Lovers of historical-themed slots are in for something of a treat this week, if they happen to play at the right casino, that is. Quickspin has announced that their gladiator-themed, Tiger’s Glory slot is set to be released ahead of schedule.
It is not uncommon for internet casino software providers to launch their games exclusively at a handful of sites. Just like in the video game world, periods of exclusivity are becoming the norm for top slot titles. Tiger’s Glory is just the latest title to receive such a launch.
A Gladiator Game with a Bite
There are other similarly slots out there; Playtech’s Gladiator slot springs to mind. Playable as a progressive or non-progressive title (as per your wish) the game sets the benchmark high for other games to follow. There hasn’t quite been a gladiator-themed slot like Tiger’s Glory before, though.
For a kick-off, the new Quickspin developed slot is played over an original 6-reel format, upon which sit 4,096 paylines. Understandably, a slot such as this was never going to be dirt cheap to play, so players shouldn’t be too surprised to see a 40p minimum stake present. Upping the ante can see you bet up to £100 a pop on the new slot, though.
Free Spins and Enraged Tigers
Wild symbols appear as wreaths, and tigers show up as the best-paying of all the icons in the game. Two other special symbols pop up in the slot, and these include the scatter and Enraged Tiger icon. Landing 3 to 6 scatters will activate an Enraged Tiger free spin bonus, where the second special symbol comes into play.
Initially, players start the bonus with between 7 and 20 spins. During the feature, extra spins can be won. The tiger icon is particularly handy in this bonus, as it does not need to appear on the leftmost reel to help form a winning combo. Indeed, the symbols don’t even need to appear on consecutive reels. Enraged Tiger icons can see tigers duel with gladiators when they arise, with tiger symbols becoming sticky and offering those extra spins to add to your tally.
Coming to a Coliseum Near You in November
The game debuts today, but if you aren’t a player at Come On Casino, you’ll have to wait for the general launch of the new slot in just under two weeks’ time before you can play it. It is expected to debut at all other casino sites offering Quickspin slots on November 13.
