ARLINGTON, Va., April 14, 2016 -- DivvyCloud, a developer of innovative technology to apply active policy enforcement to today’s cloud infrastructure, welcomed Tim McLaughlin to its strategic advisory board. DivvyCloud is growing rapidly, hiring six new employees in Q1 and doubling the size of its team in Rosslyn, VA. Tim brings broad experience and valuable perspectives from his work with multiple fast-growth technology startups.
Tim was a co-founder, CTO, and CEO of Siteworx before transitioning to Chairman of the Board in June of 2015. Tim has a degree in mechanical engineering, with educational excursions into music, language, art, and artificial intelligence. He is frequently cited in tech trade and business media, including the Wall Street Journal, Washington Business Journal, DMNews, and Mobile Commerce Daily.
Tim notes, “While the rapid growth of cloud is a wonderful thing, it does bring a whole new set of challenges which I saw first hand at Siteworx. DivvyCloud not only brings deep, real-time visibility to public and private cloud infrastructure but more importantly, it allows enterprises to set and automatically enforce important policies. I think that’s pretty exciting.”
“We couldn’t be happier to have Tim join as a Strategic Advisor,” shared Brian Johnson, DivvyCloud CEO. “His deep technical expertise, knowledge of enterprise IT customers, and experience with high growth startups represents a wealth of knowledge we plan to leverage.”
