WEST FARGO, N.D., Feb. 22, 2017 -- Titan Machinery Inc. (Nasdaq:TITN) announced today a strategic alliance with Decisive Farming Corp. The alliance enables Titan to offer an industry-leading digital farm management platform to its customers, including precision agronomy, data management, and crop marketing services to complement its existing precision equipment and product support solutions.
“We teamed up with Decisive Farming because they have a complete and reliable solution in the market,” says David Meyer, CEO of Titan Machinery. “We’re rolling out Decisive Farming’s My Farm Manager data management platform to our field staff and getting them trained. Through the platform, our customers will have access to a suite of over ten farm management services, with more expected in the future.”
The My Farm Manager platform allows Decisive Farming’s team and other service partners to provide data management and expertise on GIS, agronomy, and crop marketing for the grower. Decisive Farming’s flagship product, Optimize RX, provides variable rate prescriptions for seed and fertilizer applications. Its patented processes have been validated with over fifty-one thousand acres of in-field trials. The My Farm Manager platform integrates directly with Case IH AFS Connect, New Holland PLM Connect and other major equipment telematics systems, so that customers will benefit from field records and data being automatically captured.
“My Farm Manager connects key service providers—including agronomists, grain elevators and equipment dealers—with sensors and data to manage and optimize the entire farming operation,” states Remi Schmaltz, CEO of Decisive Farming. “Customers using Optimize RX see a typical increase in net profitability of $20 per acre and Decisive Farming’s whole farm customer retention averages 96%.”
As a result of the alliance, Titan will introduce new, high-value services to its agriculture customers across Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota.
