CALGARY, Alberta, April 19, 2018 -- Toscana Energy Income Corporation ("Toscana Energy") (TSX:TEI) announces that it has waived the deadline by which proxies for the extraordinary meeting (the "Meeting") of holders ("Debentureholders") of 6.75% convertible unsecured subordinated debentures of Toscana Energy due June 30, 2018 ("Debentures") must be received. In order to allow Debentureholders further time to vote their Debentures, proxies will be accepted up until immediately before the Meeting scheduled for 1:00 p.m. (Calgary time) on April 23, 2018.
