“Toy Story 4” is one of those highly anticipated animations. It has been a long time since the third sequel has been released so this new movie offering really excites the moviegoers.

The latest trailer of “Toy Story 4” was released last week and through it, it was revealed that the story will focus on Woody and the gang as they look after Forky, the new handmade toy. The fourth sequel of the “Toy Story” franchise will pick up at the time after Andy gave away his toys to Bonnie as he heads to college.
The gang is also on the road as Bonnie and her family heads to Grand Basin. On the way, Woody and his friends encountered many misadventures but they still managed to get back on track with help from friends.
Cast
Tom Hanks will voice Woody while Tim Allen will be Buzz Lightyear. They will be supported by Joan Cusack as Jessie and Annie Potts as Little Bo Peep. There will be new cast additions and they will be Ally Maki as Giggle McDimples and the new villain Gabby Gabby that will be voiced by Christina Hendricks.
Moreover, as reported on Entertainment Weekly, the new characters in “Toy Story 4” is led by A-list actor, Keanu Reeves. He will be Duke Kaboom, a daredevil and motorcycle enthusiast from Canada.
In casting Keanu Reeves, “Toy Story 4” director Josh Cooley commented, “I didn’t know Keanu was Canadian, and I did not know that he had a motorcycle company, until after we cast him.”
He went on to narrate how the actor changed his idea of what the Kaboom character would have been. “We always had this character who was always this bravado Canadian stuntman, and in my head, I had this one idea of how it would be performed, but then we met with Keanu and had lunch together.”
He continues, “And once he came to the table, he started asking all these great questions and doing different voices and actually jumped up on the table in the middle of Pixar to act out the character and his great ideas that we didn’t have in there originally. It was really incredible. Keanu really did help craft that character in a huge, huge way.”
Release Date
Variety notes that “Toy Story 4” is coming 24 years after the first “Toy Story” film was released and emerged as a top-grosser at the tills. The movie is coming to theaters on June 21.
