Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner are reportedly taking a break from each other and have been doing so for a while. Although the couple’s relationship has been going swimmingly after their daughter was born, everything slowed down in recent months that may have caused some cracks in their romance.
Now, more drama is underway, and Travis Scott isn’t going to like this one. Just recently, Kylie Jenner was seen hanging out with her ex Tyga along with a few mutual friends.
The two dated before Travis Scott came into the picture and have supposedly kept in touch through the years, although not that much. After news broke out, the makeup mogul took to Twitter and addressed the situation.
Travis Scott’s career may be the reason for the fallout
Kylie Jenner said that she wasn’t on a date with Tyga that night, adding that she was only there to drop off her friends. The 22-year-old added that she and Travis Scott are in great terms and their main priority is their daughter. The rapper has yet to address the issue.
As to why Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott are taking a break, it appears that commitment – or lack thereof – is the reason behind it. Apparently, the rapper’s career has driven a wedge to his relationship with his family. Kylie wanted the SICKO MODE singer to prioritize her and Stormi but the two couldn’t find a middle ground.
“She loved being at home with Travis [Scott] and their daughter Stormi Webster more than anything. But right now, their priorities are different,” a source told E!
Travis Scott’s new music could further hurt his relationship with Kylie Jenner
Other sources of the publication said that Kylie Jenner felt insecure that she doesn’t know where Travis Scott stands. Of course, this doesn’t mean that the two wouldn’t mend things between them. The problem is certainly fixable and the duo has been in rocky ground before but eventually managed to overcome life’s trials.
The problem here is with the release of Travis Scott’s new music, there’s no denying that he’ll be busy promoting his new work in the coming months. That means less time with family and more time with his career, something that could further damage what’s already a flimsy relationship with Kylie Jenner.
