Experts at beverage manufacturer Tropicana have come up with a toothpaste that allows juice lovers to indulge in orange juice without off-flavors after brushing their teeth.
According to a spokesperson, Tropicana Toothpaste was specifically designed to protect the orange juice taste by eliminating sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) as an ingredient.
The SLS is a cleaning agent prevalent in toothpaste that contributes to the bitter aftertaste when drinking orange juice after brushing the teeth.
The new limited-edition toothpaste, which arrives in a clearly-branded Tropicana Toothpaste tube, will be released on November 1 — National Brush Day.
The toothpaste won't be sold but could be availed of by commenting on Tropicana's Instagram page.
According to Tropicana, a survey they commissioned revealed that 78 percent agree that brushing their teeth can ruin the orange juice taste.
While people could also brush their teeth after drinking orange juice, Tropicana is giving them an option.
