INAP was contracted to provide colocation services and Performance IP to help support the customers’ 100 million users worldwide
ATLANTA and FRAMINGHAM, Mass., April 30, 2018 -- Internap Corporation (NASDAQ:INAP), a leading provider of high-performance data center services including colocation, managed hosting, cloud and network services, today announced a multi-year deal between INAP and Vivox Inc., the leading provider of voice and text chat for the most popular video games, for colocation and Performance IP services at INAP’s Boston data center.
Vivox originally selected INAP to expand their infrastructure services due to INAP’s ability to provide a solution that addressed all of their evolving business needs and challenges, including the performance levels required for their network.
It was an easy decision for Vivox to keep this partnership going for the foreseeable future. In expanding their relationship with INAP, Vivox will migrate their existing colocation environment from INAP’s partner site to INAP’s primary facility in Boston.
"Vivox is a valued customer and we look forward to continuing our partnership for the years to come,” said Corey Needles, INAP USA’s Senior Vice President and General Manager. “We are confident our high-performance colocation and patented IP technology will provide the low latency and redundancy Vivox needs to provide the best user experience to the global gaming partners they serve.”
“INAP was able to prove that they are the right long-term partner for Vivox,” said Jim Toga, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Vivox. “The INAP team took the time to fully understand our business needs and challenges, and then presented a solution that accommodated our flexibility, capacity and quality requirements.”
