Fans will have to wait for 2 more months as the hit TV series Once Upon A Time will be returning with a new episode this March. Season 5A of OUAT aired last December 6 and now fans are hitting the internet to find some clues and updates for the upcoming episode. Well, you are in the right track for spoilers are lurking in this article.
Episode 12 will be titled ''Souls of the Departed'' and it speaks so much about the happenings that is going to take place in the fictional town of Storybrooke. As it turns out, a character from the past will come back and affect the relationship of Rumpel (Robert Carlyle) and Belle (Emilie de Ravin) and it is in the form of a handsome prince charming Gaston (Wes Brown), whom the last time we saw him was when he was about to free Belle.
And speaking of Rumpel, he has once again became the powerful and dangerous Dark One as he acquired the powers of the dagger that Captain Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) is supposed to use to sacrifice himself and return all the Dark Ones he summoned back to hell. And now with Hook dead and his love Emma (Jennifer Morrison) discovering Rumpel's betrayal, she will use this as her leverage to force Rumpel to visit the Underworld and bring Hook back or else Belle will know of the truth and this might leave Rumpel alone.
Not only that, the situation just keeps getting better as Neal a.k.a Baelfire (Michael Raymond-James), who died in season 3, might come back to life depending on Emma's decision. The fact that she wanted Rumpel to go to the Underworld and bring back Hook to life by giving him half of her heart might be a sign that he will choose her present love and not the father of her son. But, chances of Neal coming back might be fat as Rumpel, who has the powers of all the Dark Ones, may now do whatever he wants and he might decide on bringing back his son.
Watch out for more spoilers as we wait for the upcoming episode of OUAT on ABC this March 6.
