Latest data shows that CNN’s rating has tanked sharply in terms of viewership in the United States. And that should tell you something about this year’s race. The rating tanked after Trump criticized the bias reporting of CNN and called it “Clinton News Network”. MSNBC, which has also been tilted towards supporting Clinton got hit hard in terms of ratings, while the Fox News, which has been pro-Trump has seen its rating and viewership jump. The tank in viewing is so sharp that the combined viewership of CNN and MSNBC couldn’t beat Fox News. In terms of total day viewers, CNN and MSNBC had a combined viewers of 1.3 million compared to Fox’s 1.4 million alone.
So it’s not a wonder that after a winning performance in the first debate, Hillary Clinton’s poll numbers haven’t improved much. It speaks a lot about this year’s race and this could be an indicator that Donald Trump would win this year’s presidential election riding on the popularity among people.
