March 15 was a big day for US presidential race and especially for Republican side. Two of the candidates, Marco Rubio and John Kasich had votes in their home state, Florida and Ohio, where latter is the governor.

In both the camps, front runners have once again emerged as clear victors increasing their leads in the race.

  • Trump is again leading in Illinois and grabbed 24 candidates so far, Result on other 45 yet to be declared. He won 38.9% of the votes, followed by 30.3% Ted Cruz.
  • Missouri is yet to be declared but Trump is leading marginally with 40.8% of the votes, just ahead of Ted Cruz’s 40.6%
  • Mr. Trump won again in North Carolina, grabbed 29 of the 72 delegates so far. Ted Cruz is having 26, John Kasich 9 and Marco Rubio 5.
  • John Kasich has won his home state, Ohio, grabbing all 66 delegates with 46.8% of the votes. Donald Trump was distant next with 35.7% of the votes.

Democratic side

  • In Florida, Front runner Hilary Clinton 124 of the 214 delegates, while Sanders got 60. 10 yet to be decided.
  • Clinton won in Illinois and grabbed 66 delegates, while Sanders grabbled 64. 26 yet to be declared.
