Washington in complete disarray as the fight between President Trump and the Washington establishment better known as the ‘Deep State’ continues. This week, while President Trump showed the strength of his popularity at a rally in West Virginia, deep state leaked several of his conversations, which are extremely confidential.
The conversation, between President Trump and the Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, was leaked to media, along with a conversation between Trump and Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto. The media tried to highlight bits and pieces of those conversations, trying to make Trump look bad. However, it was completely ignored that such leaks were not only illegal but dangerous for the United States and leaders of other countries.
Deep State also leaked several other conversations of President Trump to the media, where he was heard calling New Virginia a ‘drug infested den’. While his rivals might think that release of these conversations might weaken his popularity, it is very much likely to be the opposite because his supporters would first see the criminality in these leaks and then they don’t mine on his word but would look at intentions.
This week, the US congress, which is seen by Trump supporters as a part of the ‘Deep State’ curbed Presidential powers to operate the foreign policies. Trump was forced to sign a legislation that removes his power to unilaterally remove sanctions on Russia. The deep state is also preparing legislations so that he can’t fire special prosecutor Robert Mueller, who is investigating Russia’s meddling in US election and allegations of Trump campaign colluding with Russia. Robert Mueller has impanelled a grand jury this week for the investigation and subpoenaed Donald Trump Jr. Over his meeting with a Russian lawyer.
